Easy Baked Lemon Dill Salmon

This baked lemon dill salmon is bright, fresh, and incredibly simple to make. With just a few ingredients and under 20 minutes of cook time, it’s a perfect weeknight dinner that still feels a little fancy.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 ½ tbs olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbs fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbs chopped fresh dill
  • Lemon slices for topping
  • Optional: 1 tsp Dijon mustard or 1 tsp honey

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place salmon fillets skin-side down and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the mixture over the salmon fillets. Top with fresh dill and lemon slices.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve warm with your favorite sides and extra lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

* To make this recipe dairy-free and gluten-free, no swaps are needed!
* Leftover salmon can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently or enjoy cold over salads or bowls.
